The United States and Saudi Arabia signed a 30-year Civil Nuclear Cooperation Agreement under the US Atomic Energy Act (Section 123) to promote peaceful nuclear energy cooperation. However, its implementation is linked to Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords and normalizing relations with Israel.
