India and Japan have announced their first-ever joint defence co-development project, Project UNICORN, to jointly manufacture the UNICORN (Unified Complex Radio Antenna) Mast for the Indian Navy. The project strengthens bilateral defence cooperation, promotes Atmanirbhar Bharat, and enhances India's maritime capabilities in the Indo-Pacific.
